Ambekar, M.D.
“My lifelong interest in physics and medicine, along
with my desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives,
led me to the field of radiation oncology. I also enjoy this medical
specialty because it involves the latest advances in both science and
technology. Today, I am proud to offer you over 28 years of experience
along with the specialized training you can trust. I also make a point
of staying at the forefront of my field through research, ongoing education
and membership in professional organizations such as the American Society
for Therapeutic Radiology. Cancer is not selective; it affects
people of all ages, ethnicities and economic backgrounds. However,
today’s
treatment methods offer hope in the fight against this disease. It
is rewarding to know that I can use my knowledge and clinical expertise
to help patients whose lives have been affected by cancer. Equally
important, I educate, inform and support my patients so they can take
an active role in their treatment decisions and feel confident about
their care. I’ve found that
empowering patients can ease their fears
and instill hope.”
